Special research schools

PhD researchers looking for advanced, topic-specific training may enroll in one of our special research schools, which offer specialized lectures, seminars and collaborations with local and international partners.

Special research schools and exchange programs provide umbrella structures for doctoral training across all research areas at the MDC. These structured programs are established as cooperations with local and international partners, and provide a unique opportunity for collaborative projects in international environment, where students carry out joint research projects, co-supervised by mentors from partner institutions.

Max Delbrück Center is part of two new European Marie Skłodowska-Curie networks that train PhD candidates in academia and industry.
